Create your account

Go to app.tandemai.io and sign up with your email. You’ll be asked to create an organization and your first program during onboarding.

Create a program

A program represents a project or product you’re working on. Give it a name and an optional description. You can create more programs later from the sidebar.

Add your first node

Navigate to System Architecture in the sidebar. Click Add Node to create your first system or subsystem. Drag and drop nodes to organize your hardware breakdown.

Upload a CAD file

Select a node and click Upload in the artifacts panel. Upload a SolidWorks (.sldprt, .sldasm) or STEP file. Tandem processes it automatically and renders a 3D preview in the browser.

Ask the AI agent

Open the AI chat panel and try a question like:
What nodes are in this program?
The agent can search, create, and update data across your program using natural language.

Invite your team

Go to Settings and invite team members by email. Assign roles and organize members into permission groups to control access.
